The Victorian Transport Association (VTA) and the Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC) combined some years ago to jointly present the Freight Event every two years. Originally a week-long conference and exhibition, it has grown to a year- long series of events. Freight 2011 runs from October 2010 through to Freight Week commencing 5th of April 2011.
A particular feature of Freight 2011 will be the Sandown safety and productivity day on the 3rd and 4th March. This hands-on event was during Freight 2009 and was hugely successful allowing attendees the opportunity to drive or be driven in a range of commercial vehicles and trucks with leading edge safety features.
